MUMBAI: Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces has forayed into a management pact with Morocco's JK Hotels for managing 'Taj Palace Marrakech'. It will be helpful in raising the firm's international portfolio to 17 hotels.
With this, the Taj Group has now set up its foothold in North Africa, Indian Hotels Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Raymond N Bickson. It will be managing Taj Palace Marrakech, which is scheduled to be unveiled in autumn 2011.
Jaouad Kadiri, owner of JK Hotels, said, “Taj Hotels' is a legendary chain and we are delighted with this association. Under the Taj management, our guests will experience the most exacting standards of world class hospitality. We look forward to a mutually rewarding relationship.”
